About me
My first career was in wildlife biology. I have a doctorate in zoology, and I designed innovative research on the spotted owl population in Olympic National Park.
After entering therapy myself, I made career change to become a therapist. I believe strongly that working on myself is essential to my practice as a therapist. My regular meditation practice helps me see life more clearly, and be more effective as a therapist.
I am an avid hiker, bicyclist, and kayaker. Exploring the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest nourishes my soul, though I get out more rarely now as my bones are less resilient and my wife and children are a focus of my life. I love to play music with friends. I am a dance caller and a dancer. I live my life happily without television.
I have spent entirely too much time in school...
